Hi, my name is Lera and I have … an addiction to Excel. To say this addiction is a casual appreciation would be a gross under-exaggeration. I heart Excel for all its intricacies, infinite possibilities and ability to organize well, everything. I love it and I’m not ashamed. Instead I would like to let you in on a few secrets, a few tidbits, so you too can join me in my lovefest. If you have yet to discover Excel’s wonderful offerings, it’s ok. I was once in your shoes. That’s why I’m here, to open your eyes to just an iota of the endless ways Excel can benefit you and help get your work and home life in order. Let’s start small with a few simple things for which you can use Excel:
1. Create a Personal Budget
2. Create a Calendar
3. Track Expenses
4. Collect Addresses
5. Manage your Loans
Excel helps keep home-life organized, and it makes work life drastically easier when keeping track of complicated things, like client budgets. But that’s not where the magic ends. People have found dozens, maybe hundreds of practical, impractical, unexpected and glorious ways to use excel…
Sitting at your desk, eating a ham sandwich, wishing you had something more exciting than pimento cheese to occupy your lunch hour? Get around those blockers on your computer and play an excel game! Click on the pic to learn how.
When the weekend rolls around, do you find yourself with too much time on your hands? Looking for a hobby that will get you in touch with your colonial side? Excel is an amazing platform for designing quilt patterns. Click on the pic to spruce up on your quilting patterns.
And if you ever find yourself really, really bored and in a place with no Photoshop, pencils, pens or chunk of charcoal to draw with, you can create Excel Art like this lady. Who doesn’t like rainbows? Click on the pic to see more cubic artistry.
