What got you into this business in the first place?
a relentless best friend who landed me an interview for an internship and one pretty awesome scrapbook that I passed off as a “portfolio.”

Who was a big influence in your career?
Adam Pierno. He’s been a great mentor and valuable source of life wisdom. But I’d never tell him that.

What was “your finest moment,” the thing you’re most proud of?
My first Addy award. It wasn’t gold, it wasn’t even silver, and I didn’t even care. I won. Literally, and figuratively—I won.

What was your most embarrassing moment in this business?
I am not easily embarrassed, but I am sure I have done a lot of things I SHOULD be embarrassed about. I just can’t think of any I’d like to share at the moment.

What attracted you to Santy?
I love the nontraditional approach. We truly do embrace the unexpected here, and that is definitely fitting with my personality. That, and I can wear my gold cowboy boots to work.

Do you have a method for coming up with ideas and solutions for clients?
It’s in my nature to talk (a lot) so I always prefer to discuss what I am working on with as many people as possible. I love hearing other perspectives and blending them with my own for a great outcome.

What driving career goals do you still have?
There are still a lot of different things I want to accomplish, but overall I always want to make sure I am learning something new in an environment that I enjoy. I set my goals and make my decisions based on that idea.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned about advertising?
make the logo smaller!

What talent do you wish you had?
Balance. It might not seem like a talent—but it is. Some people are just naturally graceful or coordinated. I actually cannot walk and drink out of a bottle at the same time.

If you had to live on a desert island, what would you miss most?
Other people! I like to talk.

What can’t you live without?

Google, country music and my family.

What are your plans for after advertising?
I am going to write a book. It will be a non-fiction book, but I will claim it’s fiction that way people think I am an excellent writer instead of just plain crazy. After that I am going to be a Dierks Bentley-Roadie.

Is there any food that helps you think more creatively?
Red Bull and Vodka, and sour gummy worms.

What’s your favorite sports team?
I am a born and raised, die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Troy Aikman was my first love. Miles Austin is my current love.

What frustrates you the most?
Watching people settle due to fear of change or lack of motivation. And those drivers who don’t really use the left hand turn lane, they just slow down to 10 mph right in front of you and move over at the last minute.

What’s your point of view about politics?
Socially liberal, fiscally conservative. This makes election time difficult.

Tell us about your pets?
My adorable, old, fat, blind pug lives with my parents in Las Vegas and I miss him terribly. I plan on getting a puppy as soon as I can handle the commitment.

What was growing up like for you?
Glorious. My family is the greatest blessing in my life.

What’s your favorite TV program?  And your least favorite?
Chelsea Lately is my absolute favorite show. Chelsea Handler says everything that I want to say and she makes it ten times funnier. My least favorite would be anything that involves Flavor Flave.

What do you do for a good time when you’re not working?
I live for country music concerts, I love happy hours and taking random road trips.

Do you have any kids?
No, and I won’t for a long time. A very long time. But I definitely want a big family.

What was college like for you?
I went to Arizona State and I was in a sorority…from what I hear, I had a blast.

What are your favorite internet sites?
seriouslyjess.com
apartmenttherapy.com
decor8blog.com
google.com…seriously, I love Google. I google everything and every ONE. This is not an exaggeration. If we’ve met, there is a 90% chance I’ve googled you and/or found every one of your social networking sites.

What is your theme song?
Baby Girl-Sugarland
